A different kind of Cosplay & Costume Contest will be taking place at Fantasy Festival 2022, taking place for the first time in physical form, on October 1 & 2 at the Peristeri Convention Center in Athens, Greece!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Fantasy Festival 2022<\/strong><\/a>, the big upcoming convention of the Fantasy of Athens<\/span><\/strong>, by Rising Star Promotions<\/a><\/strong> and Hellenic Fantasy Legion<\/a><\/strong>, returns for its 3rd consecutive year, this time  in physical form<\/span><\/strong> on October 1 & 2, 2022<\/span><\/strong>, 10:00 – 23:00, at the big Peristeri Convention Center<\/a><\/strong>! MAGIC COSTUME ALUMNI PHOTO CONTEST <\/span><\/strong>!<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

Besides the Cosplay Panel<\/span><\/strong> held by Alisa Murphy<\/strong><\/a> titled “Cosplay Management”<\/span><\/strong> taking place on Saturday, October 1st, 15:30 – 16:00<\/span><\/strong>, at the evet’s panel room ( details HERE<\/strong><\/a> ), visiting Cosplayers, Larpers and people dressed in fantasy costumes<\/span><\/strong>, will have the chance to take part during the event’s two days<\/span><\/strong> in the photo Cosplay & Costume Contest “Magic Costume 2K22”<\/span><\/strong>!<\/div>\n

The aim of the contest is the creation of an annual photo album<\/span><\/strong> ( Yearly Alumni Photobook ), which includes the best photos of our friends in costume visiting the event, with its purpose being to highlight Greek and also foreign friends<\/span><\/strong> who love fantasy and engage regularly with Cosplay, LARP, crafting and constructing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The photo contest will be held during the event in a specially designed area inside the activity room<\/span><\/strong>! Participation is free<\/span><\/strong> with registration on the spot<\/span><\/strong> and in order of priority, based on attendance<\/span><\/strong>! Participants must be over 18 years of age<\/span><\/strong> and may enter with one to five different costumes<\/span><\/strong>, either purchased, handmade or commissioned<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The photos will be evaluated by a three-member committee<\/span><\/strong> based on the general image and presentation<\/span><\/strong> ( posing,  costume’s state, mood, ingenuity, photogenicity etc.)! The results<\/span><\/strong> will be announced in a special show via the event’s<\/span><\/strong> \u03a5outube<\/a><\/strong> channel on Tuesday, November 01!<\/p>\n

The Fantasy Festival is a modern cultural festival themed around Fantasy that promotes arts, culture, education, environmental awareness and freedom of expression and is addressed to all those who love Fantasy and related hobbies and activities related to it.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Festival brings together entrepreneurs and artists active in the field of Fantasy, hosting a variety of their unique exhibits and inspired works, such as books, comics, magazines, board games, RPG’s, card games, videogames, collectibles, souvenirs, handicrafts, jewelry, constructions, clothing, accessories, works of art, paintings, illustrations and more.<\/p>\n

During the two days of the festival, various organized parallel informative and entertainment events take place, such as panels, presentations, educational seminars, demonstrations, game tournaments and other artistic events one can attend or even participate in.<\/p>\n

The festival’s organisation and operation is carried out in accordance with relevant health protocols and distance keeping measures in public gathering places throughout the country effective during the event’s duration, to limit the spread of coronavirus COVID-19.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The event will be hosting the Everly Awards – Greek Fantasy Awards<\/strong><\/a> award ceremony, as well as the  Magic Pen Writing Contest<\/strong><\/a> and the Magic Brush Illustration Contest<\/strong><\/a> awards.
