Fantasy Festival 2023<\/strong><\/a>, the big fantasy convention of Athens<\/span><\/strong>, by Rising Star Promotions<\/a><\/strong> and Hellenic Fantasy Legion<\/a><\/strong>, returned for its 2nd consecutive year in physical form<\/span><\/strong> on October 7 & 8<\/span><\/strong>, 2023<\/span><\/strong> at the big Peristeri Convention Center<\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n

The ultimate cultural festival full of literature, comics, music, dance, theater, crafts, videogames, games, visual arts and much more<\/span><\/strong>, related to Fantasy, including many panels, seminars, activities and tournaments<\/span><\/strong>! Visitors found a variety of unique exhibits and inspired works, such as books, comics, magazines, board games, RPG’s, card games, videogames, collectibles, souvenirs, handicrafts, jewelry, constructions, clothing, accessories, works of art, paintings, illustrations<\/span><\/strong> and more. Over 15.000 visitors<\/span><\/strong> flooded the event , filling the corridors between many exhibitors and artists<\/span><\/strong>! MAGIC COSTUME ALUMNI PHOTO CONTEST WINNERS <\/span><\/strong>!<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

Visiting Cosplayers, Larpers and people dressed in fantasy costumes <\/span><\/strong>had the chance to take part during the event’s two days<\/span><\/strong> in the photo Cosplay & Costume Contest “Magic Costume 2K23”<\/span><\/strong>!<\/div>\n

The aim of the contest was the creation of an annual photo album<\/span><\/strong> ( Yearly Alumni Photobook ), which includes the best photos of our friends in costume visiting the event, with its purpose being to highlight Greek and also foreign friends<\/span><\/strong> who love fantasy and engage regularly with Cosplay, LARP, crafting and constructing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The photo contest was held during the event in a specially designed area inside the activity room<\/span><\/strong>! Participation was free<\/span><\/strong> with online registrations<\/span><\/strong> and in order of priority, based on attendance<\/span><\/strong>!! Participants had to be over 18 years of age<\/span><\/strong> and could enter with one to three different Fantasy themed costumes<\/span><\/strong>, either purchased, handmade or commissioned<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The photos were evaluated by a three-member committee<\/span><\/strong> based on the general image and presentation<\/span><\/strong> ( posing,  costume’s state, mood, ingenuity, photogenicity etc.)!<\/p>\n
